Christine at the Artists Nook has been working like a mad woman getting new things and product for the store as well as doing a bit of reorganizing. Bit by bit our store gets more and more surprises. Here are a few:

a surprise in the mail

Hey check out what my friend Joy (one of the Cortona, Italy gang) just sent me. Pretty cool, and hopefully the wine is made a bit differently than my assemblage...which I should mention that none of my work is edible or drinkable...though that does sound like an interesting departure. Thanks Joy and Bill, I will, no doubt enjoy it to the last drop.

Voodoo and then something Autumnal

I was in Portland last week doing a little Art and Soul-ing. Spent some time with a number of my friends who live out there. I spent very nice evening with my friend Linda and her husband Jeremy. After a bit of eating and then drinking they took me to the location of there wedding...thats right Voodoo Doughnuts. Sure its sounds a bit odd, but then again...I am, in fact legally ordained myself (no joke...I have actually performed about 14 or so weddings for those who are, like me, a bit of a Joseph Campbell-mix and match mythology types). So below is my Voodoo doughnut with blood (raspberry) filling.
