Shoes, Ships and Sealing Wax

"The time has come," the Walrus said,

"To talk of many things:

Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--

Of cabbages--and kings--

And why the sea is boiling hot--

And whether pigs have wings."

Okay so I'm not going to get into all of that, but I do have a bit of business to take care of...

Okay first off..
Attention all Missoulians!!!!
 Dusty Diablos Booksigning
Booksigning of Dusty Diablos is just around the corner...time-wise and location-wise.
I'm going to be at
April 27th at 7pm.
103 S. 3rd St. W.
Missoula, MT 59801
(406) 549-9010

I'll be scribbling away and doing an artist talk...so mark it on your calendar.

Dusty Diablos Exhibit coming up in June!
Speaking of Missoula... Next thing to chat about is a show coming up in June at a new gallery in Missoula...well they are so new the haven't settled on a name yet.
Melissa and Brian are the owners of Wood Fusion Studio and have turned part of there space in to a loft style gallery.  They are going to be exhibiting all of the work in Dusty Diablos.  We were chatting the other day...there was talk of margaritas, mexican beer, and latin music for the opening.  We even discussed a pinata.
More on this later.
(insert gallery name here)

Dusty Diablos Art Opening June 4
on exhibit the month of June

Okay last thing to chat about is my new website...same address different look.
My sister slaved and slaved over getting this up and running.  Take a peek and let me know what you think.  Especially if you notice any glitches.  I really like the new look but you'll need Adobe Flash to run it.
let me know what you're thoughts are.

next post I'll show you some of the Strange Angels I've been working on

Nice to see new work up on the web site! One quibble: the Flash makes it harder to link to something specific (say, if I wanted to direct someone to a particular piece, which I've done in the past). And a few of the images are a bit low-rez, especially when magnified. But Sis did a good job!

Us old folks with bifocals will have a hard time reading the small type. But I didn't know there were prints available! Lots of websites are so full of "stuff" that it's confusing. I like the cleaner look of this one. Bigger images and type would do it for me.

it looks fantastic!
i agree, i like the clean look of it, it's well organized and has a great aesthetic.
i noticed a low-rez in haberdashery, "from the heart."
great work!

It is a gorgeous place! Easy to navigate, I ordered your new book, autographed!!!
I saw you have a class in sept. in Port Townsend. I tried to get more info to sign up but nothing yet. Perhaps the sign -ups aren't available yet.

the website looks fabulous!!! my biggest grievance is that there are no upcoming work-shops close to the Atlanta Georgia or Chattanooga Tenn. area. :(
